Abstract Al-doped HfO2 nanoparticles were prepared at room-temperature using a novel one-step, straightforward, high-yield, efficient and green process. Abstract CuO and ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized at room-temperature following a novel, direct, high-yield (>91%) and green method based on a mechanically activated metathesis reaction. Abstract An innovative and environmentally-friendly procedure has been developed for the successful preparation of Ta2O5 nanoparticles (NPs). This method includes mechanical milling and a subsequent calcination step.
