Abstract
Novel yttrium oxide-based orange-red emanative BaSrY4(1−x)Sm4xO8 (x = 1.0–6.0 mol%) nanopowder were manufactured by ecologically benign and less energy consuming urea combustion methodology. Crystal structure investigations reported the orthorhombic symmetry type with Pnma (62) phase group.
