The effect of filler surface functionalization with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) on the charge trapping and transport was studied in polypropylene (PP)/(ethylene-octene) copolymer (EOC)/silica nanodielectrics. Different reaction conditions were utilized for silica functionalization to alter the deposited layer morphology.
