Here, highly entangled molecular topologies—a 7-crossing torus knot, an 8-crossing torus link, and a poly[n]catenane—were successfully constructed via metal-induced folding and assembly of a short peptide. Remarkable stereoselectivities in their self-assembly processes were achieved even by combination of the simple GGG sequence with dynamic silver(I)–pyridine linkages.
