Abstract
Melica scabrosa Trin. is an important forage grass of Poaceae, wildly distributed in the Northeast Asia to Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. The complete chloroplast genome sequence of M. scabrosa was obtained by de novo assembly using whole genome sequence data.
