The aim of presented study was to investigate possible effectof caffeic acid (CA) in combination with known differentiatingagents, all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) or dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) respectively, on the HL-60 human myeloid leukemia cellline. Treatment of the HL-60 cells by CA in combination withknown differentiation inductors ATRA and DMSO leads to thereduction of cell viability and increased frequency ofapoptosis.
