Abstract
Using phenol and benzyl chloride as raw materials and N,N-dimethyl formamide(DMF) as solvent,benzyl phenyl ether was synthesized under microwave radiation.The effects of solvent and reactans ratio,microwave power,irradiation time etc.on reaction were studied.The optimal reaction conditions were: n(phenol)∶n(potassium hydroxide)∶n(benzyl chloride)∶n(N,N′-dimethyl formamide)=1∶1.15∶1.3∶6.47,microwave power 400 W,and irradiation time 80 s.The yield...
