Abstract
The authors studied the radiation exposure to personnel in the examining room during a complete cardiac catheterization procedure. Commercial film badges and thermoluminescent LiF wafers were worn at several anatomical sites. Data on the examining physician alone indicate an exposure of 50 mrems to the trunk area during a complete cardiac procedure.
