As the sandwiched hole transporting materials (HTMs) layers are in direct contact with up-coated perovskite layer and bottom electrode in p-i-n structured perovskite (i-PSCs), the film quality of HTMs determines the morphological properties of the perovskite absorbent. To achieve excellent surface morphology of HTM films, two asymmetric structured HTMs, which featuring with methoxytriphenylamine electron donor and imidazole core, has been successfully developed through two simple reactions of cy...

The design of economical and efficient electrocatalyst to replace precious platinum-based catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) has always been an essential study direction of clean energy technology. In this work, HER electrocatalyst (Co/WC@NC) was synthesized by pre-selfassembly of polyoxometalate (Co4P4W30), cobalt ions and dicyandiamide (DCA) via following one-step calcination process. Co/WC@NC consists of cobalt and tungsten carbide nanoparticles which are wrapped with Nitrogen do...
Although wood-derived carbon (WC) and its derivatives are promising electrodes for supercapacitors because of their hierarchically porous architecture, superior mechanical flexibility, and environmental friendliness, pure WC electrodes usually exhibit poor wettability, inferior areal capacitance, and unsatisfactory electronic conduction. Herein, hierarchically porous graphene/wood-derived carbon (GWC) aerogels are fabricated for high-performance supercapacitor electrodes by chemical reduction of...
A novel multifunctional fluorescent molecule (Bz-8HQ) has been designed and synthesized from the linkage of benzimidazole (Bz) and 8-hydroxyquinoline (8HQ). The synthesis was straightforward and involved reacting (piperazin-1-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole with 5-(chloromethyl)quinolin-8-ol which gives Bz-8HQ in a high yield. The structure of Bz-8HQ was subsequently characterized through different spectroscopic techniques such as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry. Due to the two di...

In this paper, based on the reported OTTAB, OTTTB and eight newly designed compounds, the DFT/TD-DFT theory is utilized to study the influence of the electron-accepting ability of the central core, the electron-accepting ability of the substituent and the substituent position on the frontier molecular orbital, electronic absorption, hole reorganization energy and second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. This investigation reveals that replacing the left OT unit in OTTTB with an IC unit w...
Water retention procedures by sealing are often suggested during the laboratory preparation of the calcium oxalate protective film. In fact, water retention by sealing is impractical in application and is not always necessary under certain circumstances. In this paper, calcium oxalate was prepared without water retention in a humid environment and the protective performance was investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD)...

In this paper, we prepared a new probe, a supramolecular compound composed of esculetin(ESC) and a cucurbit[8]uril(Q[8]). Ultraviolet, fluorescence and other methods have shown that ESC and Q[8] could formed a 2:1 (ESC2@Q[8]) inclusion compound with weak fluorescence, wihch could efficiently identify metal aluminum ions in a pH=5.0 water system, emit strong indigo blue fluorescence to achieve naked eye recognition. In the competition experiment, this probe showed the specific recognition of alum...

The first-order phase transition plays a pivotal role in material behaviors, yet that of carbides, a type of important materials, has not been systematically studied. Herein, the melting process and structural properties of binary iron carbide (FexCy) nanoparticles are characterized by reactive molecular dynamics simulation. It was found that the melting point of FexCy nanoparticle decreased with decreasing size and increased with increasing Fe/C ratio, which were consistent with the experimenta...
In this critical review, hierarchical Bi2MoO6 nanostructures as photocatalysts for photocatalytic degrading organic materials are reviewed in detail. Hierarchical nanostructures have attracted numerous attentions due to their multiple advantages such as porous structure, large surface area, efficient light harvesting and charge separation, which have considerable influences on the photocatalytic performance. Herein, the recent progress of hierarchical Bi2MoO6 nanostructures including primary, se...

The interpolymer interactions play a vital role of determining the microstructure and the properties of polymer aerogels. In terms of Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) aerogels, the conformation and behaviour of polymer chains in the semidilute aqueous solution make considerable contribution to the evolution of polymer matrix during preparation. In this article, we investigated the microstructure of a group of PVA-based aerogels from the view of interactions between polymer chains. In PVA/Poly (ethylen...
