Centrifugally spun polyacrylonitrile (PAN) microfibers surface-coated with Co3O4 nanoparticles were prepared as precursors to produce coated Co3O4 carbon-fiber (CCF) composites for lithium-ion battery anodes. The serrated flow behavior of Zr61.7Al8Ni13Cu17Sn0.3 bulk metallic glass with different aspect ratios was investigated. For the samples with aspect ratios below 2.0, the serrated flow behavior changes from uniform to nonuniform with increasing aspect ratios.
