Heteroatom-doped carbon nitride (C3N4) with a built-in electric field can reinforce the carrier separation; however, the stability will be greatly reduced due to the loss of surface-doped atoms. Cyan-emitting phosphors are important for near-ultraviolet (NUV) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to gain high-quality white lighting. Framework materials constitute a broad family of solids that range from zeolites and metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to coordination polymers. The synthesis of such network structures typically rely on precursor molecular building blocks.
