Our data show that IFN-g / mice are resistant to the development of AA, pointing toward an important role of IFN-g in the pathogenesis of AA. We attempted to establish a coculture model of human dermal papilla cells (DPCs) from androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and keratinocytes (KCs) to study the pathomechanism of AGA.
