The current investigation attempted to research new therapies against parasitic protozoa, in particular against Trichomonas vaginalis. Culture ofT. vaginalis were exposed, in vitro, to several concentrations of 26 essential oils and 17 natural volatile compounds. Lethal dose of each product was determined comparatively to metronidazole. Most tested vegetal products showed, in vitro, trichomonacid properties.
