Ferroptosis can activate immune response via inducing tumor cells immunogenic cell death (ICD), and antitumor immunity in turn boosts the efficacy of ferroptosis by excreting interferon gamma (IFN-γ), which shows a promising combo for synergistically amplified tumor treatment.
