Abstract
An 82-year-old man with severe primary open angle glaucoma on maximal medical therapy underwent an ab externo closed conjunctival Xen45 device insertion with mitomycin C. The surgery was uncomplicated, with a first postoperative day intraocular pressure (IOP) of 4▒mmHg and visual acuity of 20/40 OD.
