Abstract
Magnesium (Mg)- and silicon (Si)-substituted hydroxyapatite (HA) scaffolds were synthesized using the sponge replica method. The influence of Mg2+ and SiO44- ion substitution on the microstructural, mechanical and biological properties of HA scaffolds was evaluated.
