Abstract
The gaseous signaling molecule hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) physiologically regulates store-operated Ca 2+ entry (SOCE). The SOCE machinery consists of the plasma membrane-localized Orai channels (Orai1-3) and endoplasmic reticulum-localized stromal interaction molecule (STIM)1 and STIM2 proteins.
