Abstract
Mechanical behavior of alloys is influenced by segregation of solute atoms, which affects deformation mechanisms, such as slip and twinning. In this study, we report on an atomic-scale investigation into room temperature, deformation-induced solute segregation in a Mg-Y alloy.
