Metanephric adenoma (MA) of the kidney is a rare benign neoplasm, which is mostly incidental-discovered during imaging studies for other clinical problems. However, this tumor may overlap in morphology with the papillary renal cell carcinoma and there are descriptions of metastatic disease.
