Streptococcus uberis (S. uberis) is an important causative agent of mastitis, leading to significant economic losses to dairy industry. This research used a mouse mastitis model to investigate the protective effects of taurine on mammary inflammatory response and blood-milk barrier integrity in S. uberis challenge.
