Abstract
• Two novel heterometallic macrocycles Ln 8 Zn 4 L 6 based on functional ligand were designed and synthesized. • Ln 8 Zn 4 L 6 display high catalytic activities and selectivity in coupling reaction of CO 2 with wide substrate scopes. • Ln 8 Zn 4 L 6 showed good tolerance to oxygen and water.
