Abstract
Fiber-reinforced biological soft tissues are often modeled as anisotropic hyperelastic materials. Four strain invariants can be used to define a strain energy function for soft tissues reinforced with a single fiber family: two isotropic invariants I1,I2 and two anisotropic invariants I4,I5.
