Abstract
Ten insulin dependent diabetic patients were maintained in normoglycaemia for 36 h with an artificial pancreas. Circulating polymorphonuclear leucocytes were extracted and incubated with staphylococcus before and after treatment; phagocytic and bactericidal activities were studied.
