Abstract
A simple microwave-assisted method was applied to synthesize zinc oxide (ZnO) with controllable hierarchical structures. In a surfactant-free solvent system, the hierarchical structure of the ZnO precursor can be regulated by the concentration of urea at normal temperature and pressure.
