Abstract
There is mounting evidence that the gut microbiome has a profound impact on human health and disease. In this chapter, we discuss interactions between endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) and gut microbiota. We consider how the gut microbiota, through cross-talk with the gut–liver and gut–brain axes, can mediate the outcome of EDC exposure.
