Abstract
In the present study, synthesis of Zn2+ doped SnS2 (Sn1−xZnxS2) nanoparticles has been carried out using a novel thermal decomposition method. The characterization of Zn2+ doped SnS2 nanoparticles was done using various analytical techniques. XRD results indicate the formation of single phase up to x ≤ 0.5 and phase separation occurs when x ≥ 0.60.
