A new-variety of cool-white-emitting Ba2YAlO5:Dy3+ nanomaterials has been prepared via a cost-effective, energy-saving and ecofriendly propellant-combustion-synthesis, to boost the performance of single–phase wLEDs (white-light-emitting diodes).
