Background 2‐ O ‐ α ‐D‐Glucopyranosyl‐L‐ascorbic acid (AA‐2G) is an important derivative of L‐ascorbic acid (L‐AA), which has the distinct advantages of non‐reducibility, antioxidation, and reproducible decomposition into L‐AA and glucose.
