ParaHydrogen Induced Polarization-Side Arm Hydrogenation (PHIP-SAH) is an inexpensive tool to obtain hyperpolarized pyruvate (and other metabolites) that can be applied to in-vivo diagnostics, for the investigation of metabolic processes.
