Antibacterial secondary metabolites from the endophytic fungus Eutypella scoparia SCBG-8
Abstract
Ten compounds, including three new ones, eutyscoparols H-J (1, 2 and 5), together with seven related known ones (3, 4 and 6–10), were isolated from the endophytic fungus Eutypella scoparia SCBG-8. Their chemical structures as well as absolute configurations were established by interpretation of the NMR spectroscopic data and X-ray diffraction. Among them, eutyscoparol J possesses a rarely occurring complex 6/6/6/6/6/6/6 fused ring system....
