Infected pancreatic necrosis and retroperitoneal abscess associated with Lactobacillus paracasei

Infected pancreatic necrosis is a postpancreatitis complication that is mainly caused by Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococci. Here, we have reported a very rare case of Lactobacillus paracasei bacteraemia associated with infected pancreatic necrosis and retroperitoneal abscess.
