Celecoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and a representative selective cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 inhibitor, which is commonly prescribed for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain, and primary dysmenorrhea.
