Abstract
The effective conductivity of a heterogeneous particulate material system is computationally investigated using the Monte Carlo scheme and the finite element method. The material is modeled as randomly dispersed, deformable ellipsoids considering interfacial contact including both Coulomb friction and contact resistance.
