Abstract
Neogene sediments of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in northern Indian Ocean, specifically the lower Miocene (Burdigalian) to lower Pliocene (Zanclean) sequences, were analysed for calcareous nannofossils that yielded well-preserved and diverse assemblages.
