Abstract
Surfactant based microwave irradiated and alkaline medium involving wet chemical method was adopted to prepare CdO nanostructures. The phase evaluation of prepared and annealed CdO nanostrucutures has been analyzed by XRD and FTIR. The average size of the crystallite was estimated to be 54 nm for the NH4OH reagent and 60 nm for the NaOH reagent in the assisted synthesis.
