Abstract
Acute calculous cholecystitis (AC) is a syndrome of right upper quadrant pain, fever, and leukocytosis associated with gallbladder inflammation. In the preoperative planning, the severity of AC should be considered as well as time of onset of symptoms and patient comorbidities.
