Abstract
Electrocatalytic ammonia (NH3) synthesis requires electrons, usually from the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) conducted on the dark anode. To meet the thermodynamic potential of the OER and smoothly transfer charge, a high bias voltage is often required, which, however, increases energy consumption.
