One-pot synthesis of Bi3O(PO4)2(OH) embedded on rod-like BiPO4 for efficient adsorption and visible-light photocatalytic reduction of aqueous Cr(VI)
Abstract
Photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) by visible light remains highly challenging. In this work, the composite of Bi3O(PO4)2(OH) embedded on rod-like BiPO4 synthesized by one-pot precipitation method. Changing the synthetic conditions have significant roles for controllable morphologies of BiPO4/Bi3O(PO4)2(OH) heterostructures as well as the photocatalytic efficiency. Under optimal synthetic conditions, BiPO4/Bi3O(PO4)2(OH) heterostructures showed...
