Abstract
Neoadjuvant platin-based polychemotherapy followed by radical cystectomy (RC) with pelvic lymph nodes dissection is considered a standard treatment for nonmetastatic muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). Trimodality therapy (TMT), consisting of maximal transurethral resection of the bladder followed by concomitant chemotherapy and radiation therapy, is an alternative to RC for carefully selected patients, with comparable outcomes.1Witjes J.A....
