Abstract
The lack of antibacterial properties limits the application of bacterial cellulose hydrogels in wound dressings. To overcome this deficiency, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were introduced as antibacterial agents into a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/bacterial cellulose (BC) solution.
