Abstract
Glucocorticoid receptor (GR) are known to be expressed in the ovary and glucocorticoids are shown to exert direct effects on granulosa cell functions. In the clinical setting, menstrual abnormality, amenorrhea and hypermenorrhea can be shown in patients with glucocorticoid excess.
