Abstract
In this study, an eco‐friendly method was proposed to prepare carrageenan suitable for spinning into fibers. The extract from Hypnea cervicornis without alkali pretreatment was directly converted into the spinning solution, and carrageenan fibers were obtained via wet spinning.
