Abstract
We studied modulation of the expression of extracellular matrix proteins under conditions of meprin inhibition in rats with LPS-induced endotoxemia. Endotoxemia increased the expression of type I, III, IV collagens and fibronectin in the renal tissue and type III and IV collagens in the heart.
