Abstract
Lactobacillaceae presents potential for interspecific Quorum Sensing (QS) in spontaneous cocoa fermentation, correlated with high abundance of luxS. Three Brazilian isolates from cocoa fermentation were characterized by Whole Genome Sequencing and luxS gene was surveyed in their genomes, in comparison with public databases.
