Abstract
This study aims to investigate the oxidative degradation of chitosan to produce chitooligosaccharides (CHOS) as a potential bioagent for biomaterials engineering. CHOS was produced via microwaved-assisted oxidative degradation of chitosan by using hydrogen peroxide in an acidic aqueous solution.
