Enhancement of the band-gap characteristics in disordered elastic metamaterial multi-span beams: Theory and experiment

The effects of the disordered local resonators on the vibration band-gap characteristics of the elastic metamaterial multi-span beams are investigated and validated by the vibration experiments.
