Abstract
Elongated lamellar bands parallel to rolling plane are usually formed in γ-fiber of TaW alloys at high strains. However, in this study, a type of lamellar bands oriented with α-fiber is formed in Ta10 W alloy cold-rolled to 5%. Meanwhile, island equiaxed grains with special orientations can be seen in the lamellar bands.
