Advances in polysaccharide nanocrystals as pharmaceutical excipients

Polysaccharide nanocrystals (PNs) are attractive pharmaceutical excipients due to their abundant surface hydroxyl groups, high surface charges, prominent mechanical properties, excellent fluidity, and good swelling properties.
