Abstract
The cytoplasm in mammalian cells is considered homogeneous. In this study, we report that the cytoplasmic fluidity is regulated in the blebbing cells; the cytoplasm of rapidly expanding membrane blebs is more disordered than the cytoplasm of retracting blebs.
