Abstract
•Overexpression of BAALC is a poor prognostic factor in various types of leukemia.•We identified the actin-related protein Drebrin1 as a binding partner of BAALC.•The BAALC–Drebrin1 complex was found to contribute to the chemoresistance of cytarabine.•Disrupting this complex canceled its chemoresistance capacity.
